Individual Psychotherapy offers professional counselling services designed to help clients build resilience and clarity. With experience as both a counsellor and supervisor, I bring a reflective, ethical approach to therapy-supporting clients to understand patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and navigate complex feelings with confidence. Our work is centred on creating a safe, respectful environment where clients can move forward at a pace that feels right.

We are all products of our upbringing, family cultures and experiences and we learn clever ways to cope with difficult situations. Yet these coping mechanisms which we learnt in the past may not serve us well in the present. We can work together on a short or long term basis to gain a better understanding of this and learn new skills and techniques for a more balanced sense of wellbeing.

Counselling is an opportunity to see how your thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact and how they may be influenced by these core beliefs and past experiences.

Our emotions tend to override any logic despite our best efforts so we can work together to make sense of these and find healthier coping strategies. Our aim will be of gaining a more balanced sense of wellbeing and letting go of behaviours which are no longer helpful.

The cost for individual adult work is £45 per hour.
